Pasta is one of my favorite foods to eat! I love finding different pasta recipes and making up my own. The variety of sauces that can be made & types of pasta are fascinating to me.
My current go-to pasta dish is a simple one-pot dish with seven ingredients. It’s quick and easy! I usually make this for myself when my husband is working or if it is a “whatever you want to eat” type of night.
You can add your own twist to this recipe & add additional toppings, such as veggies, to this recipe! The possibilities are numerous.
Ingredients

- 1 Cup Dried Pasta of choice (I used Cavatappi)

- 1 – 2 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 1 & 1/4 Cup Chicken Broth (or enough to cover the pasta)
- Parmesan Cheese (I shredded my own & used about 1/2 a cup of cheese when I made this. I love cheese!)

- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Step by Step Recipe
- Melt the butter in the pot over medium high heat. Then, turn down to simmer.
- Add the minced garlic to the pot & stir into the melted butter. Let the garlic heat for about 1 minute.

3. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the pot. (add more if desired)
4. Add dry pasta & stir the pasta and garlic-butter together.

5. Add the chicken broth & stir (ensure that the chicken broth covers all of the pasta). Turn stove to medium high heat. Bring the chicken broth to a boil.

6. While the pot is heating up, shred the parmesan cheese & set aside.

7. Once the chicken broth comes to a boil, keep letting it boil or turn down to simmer until most of the liquid is gone. I like to leave at least 1/4 Cup of the liquid left in the pot so that there is enough for a sauce.

8. Add the shredded parmesan cheese & stir.

9. Remove from heat & enjoy! Serve hot.

Let me know if you tried this recipe!
Sincerely,
Mallory Grace
